The Quality Assurance Division Chief is responsible for quality control operations of the Fire Service Training Records System (FSTRS) and Curriculum Development. In that capacity, personal training record information that has been added to the system will be examined and parameters established for quality reporting within the agency for the FSTRS. Reports will be generated to insure that the system is serving Virginia ’s Firefighters adequately. Troubleshooting operations will be conducted to enable the user to better utilize the system. In addition to web access support, the Virginia Fire Service community may contact VDFP via their toll free number, 1-866-4VAFIRE (823473). The user-access point of the FSTRS is a secure web-link to all individual training records which meet and or exceed Privacy Act 1971 standards.
