Walter Bailey is currently serving as the Chairman of the Virginia Fire Services Board. He is the Fire Chief at the Phenix Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Bailey has been reappointed for a second term by former Governor Terry McAuliffe. Prior to his appointment, Bailey retired as Deputy Chief of Operations with the Lynchburg Fire Department. Mr. Bailey continues to fight for the enhancement of fire and Emergency Medical Services across the Commonwealth.
