Mr. Farrell has served the citizens and stakeholders of Virginia for over two decades in the name of administering and preserving building and occupant safety. Mr. Farrell has served on legislative and code development committees for 12 years both nationally and statewide here in the Commonwealth. Mr. Farrell served as President of the Virginia Building and Code Officials Association, and currently represents Building Officials on the Virginia Board of Housing and Community Development. Mr. Farrell currently serves as a member of the Virginia Housing Commission’s Environmental and Housing Standards Committee. Mr. Farrell currently trains VA certified code enforcement personnel for the Virginia Building Code Academy. Mr. Farrell is currently employed by Prince William County Department of Development Services as the Code Compliance Supervisor. Mr. Farrell holds the following state and national certifications:
